In association with the Karnataka State Football Association, conducted a workshop for coaches on Saturday, 12th of October 2019 on the topic ‘Usage of Video Analysis in Football’. The event held at the Bengaluru Football Stadium was a part of the synergy between the KSFA and SportsKPI as part of our “Empowering Coaches” program.
We have been working closely with the KSFA for some time now and are proud patrons of their ‘Betters Coaches = Better Players’ campaign. The workshop involved an overview about video analysis, the benefits of the same and a brief insight into the software and equipment needed to do video analysis in teams. The workshop ended with an interactive case study session presented by 3 of our in-house analysts from their experiences on how video analysis aided the teams that they have worked with.
The event was attended by around 35 coaches and 27 clubs from across Karnataka and was presided over by the honourable Secretary of the KSFA, Mr. Satya. A hands-on workshop as a continuation to the concluded event is also expected to be held soon.
